When you do what you love, you never stop working, ever.

Or something like that. Below are a few examples of projects I’ve worked on in a leadership role, along with the stories behind them.

NEW!
Wild Lights

Saint Louis Zoo

A Rankin/Bass-esque commercial created from storyboard to 3D animation about a flamingo named Fletcher, who had something even more powerful than VO and CTAs: emotions.

This project won a St. Louis Regional Gold ADDY and a District 9 (Midwest) Gold ADDY in 2024.

NEW!
VOLUME: Vol. 2

The Sheldon
St. Louis, MO

Vol. 2 packed in even more content, more pages, more covers (3 options!) more hidden treasures and more MOAR! I led and designed alongside a team of artists, and stirred up a 64-page blobby reimagining of VOLUME.

This project won a St. Louis Gold ADDY in 2024.

VOLUME: Vol. 1

The Sheldon
St. Louis, MO

What’s that? That’s the undeniable tactile experience of a tangible object not controlled by the algorithm. The feel of the paper, the smell of the ink. Print is not dead, it just needs space to breathe.

This project won a St. Louis Gold ADDY in 2023.

The World of Cat

Cat Schmitz
Brooklyn, NY

Bringing suitcases full of tiny props, I had a blast creating whimsical photos in a prop studio somewhere in Brooklyn. Bubbles were blown, beach balls were inflated and a carousel horse was lowered from a balcony. Best of all, I got to meet a creative soulmate.

Unlock the Truth

Climate FieldView
Commodity Classic Tradeshow
Orlando, FL

I worked with a talented writer to devise a story, experience and social campaign for our clients’ trade show booth that revolved around a thinly veiled conspiracy theory about ancient aliens inventing digital farming technology 12,000 years ago. Very truthy!

NinjaCat

Microsoft

I can haz web tutorial backgrounds? Who better to guide you through your mandatory job training than NinjaCat? A 2020s update to a very 2010s throwback to a time when cats, “What Does the Fox Say?” and Old Gregg ruled the world wide web.

You are Here

Foundation for Form
San Diego, CA

Identity and interchangeable apartment signage system for a gas-station-turned-mixed-used space in the Golden Hill neighborhood of San Diego. I used to live there. I was there.

LifeBridge

Southern Illinois
Healthcare Foundation

Brand, campaign materials, and an introductory documentary-style video for an initiative to improve health outcomes in the Greater Metro East region of Illinois.

Zoo Perspectives

Saint Louis Zoo

When Caroline and I started working on the Zoo account together, something happened. The interworkings of the universe began to unfold before us in the form of cuboctohedron prisms. Poetry leapt from our pens and our mouths. Animal-print fashion leapt onto our bodies. Wine bottles emptied themselves into our glasses every week. Sleep was an afterthought. It felt like a dream fueled by adrenaline and delirium. It was so much fun.

Work Wonder

Bayha Group
San Diego, CA

Logo, identity and web design (along with a hand-sewn mascot named Dubby!) for a San Diego-based paid internship program developed to inspire young people to advocate for themselves, uplift each other and become the hero in their own story.

Mrs. Cannabis

GreenFrame
JAINE
St. Louis, MO

Greenway Magazine featured me as a “Woman to Watch” in the cannabis industry a few years ago. I don’t particularly like being watched, but I’m always up for taking the stage. Let’s make some dope shit.
